About

Mozaika Foundation

Mozaika Foundation helps children with special educational needs and their families take part in everyday and social life, through lessons and activities suited to how each child learns, ways to communicate for children who do not yet speak, and support for the family.

Mozaika Foundation is a California nonprofit founded in 2026 for children with special educational needs and their families. Children who need extra support to learn are often taught at home or not taught at all, and their families carry the work alone. We want to change that.

We start with the child, not the diagnosis. We are preparing lessons and group activities arranged around how each child learns, in small groups where noise and visual load do not overwhelm. Children who do not yet speak will have picture cards and visual prompts so that they can make themselves understood.

We are also preparing after-school and holiday programs, and practical support for parents, so that families have hours in which someone else is responsible and somewhere to turn with their questions.

For us, success is a child who can manage in the world. For one child that may be going to university, for another living with support rather than with their parents, and both matter equally.

Mozaika Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Who we serve

We serve children with special educational needs who require extra support to learn, including children who do not yet speak, together with their parents and families.

Where we work

We are starting in California, from our base in Sunnyvale, and plan to grow across the United States.
